Selling my Wilderness Systems Tsunami 175 Touring Kayak ($1700 MSRP)I purchased this kayak a couple of years ago and, due to a back injury, I haven't been able to use it much. It has only been taken out a dozen times and has been thoroughly cleaned after each use and stored indoors (garage). Kayak is in amazing condition and ready to paddle. *17'6" Long*24" Wide*Weight is about 68lbs*Weight Capacity 400 lbs (can hold larger paddler AND tons of gear)*Cockpit Length is 36"*Rudder with foot pedal controlsThis kayak is absolutely amazing! It is very fast, tracks straight (even in wind with the rudder deployed), super stable and has TONS of room for gear.
The fore and aft hatches have cavernous amounts of space...and if that wasn't enough there is also a day hatch right behind the cockpit with even more room and generous room behind the seat as well...not to mention ample deck space with rigging. The seat is highly adjustable and very comfortable for long days on the water (Wilderness systems keeps winning awards for this design). I did a lot of research before buying this boat new, and settled on this kayak because it is fast, stable, safe, and an awesome boat for large bodies of water or the ocean....the Tsunami slices through waves and chop like it isn't even there! I also loved that I could bring everything I need for a full day or multi day trip without having to consider whether or not the boat could hold it...you will be hard pressed to find cargo that you can't carry..... Also included (if you want them) will be some standard safety equipment to help get you paddling right away:-Spare aluminum paddle-Manual Bilge Pump-Paddle Float-NRS Life Vest This kayak will be for local pick up only...I'm not aware of any service that can ship a kayak this large for a reasonable fee.
