Wilderness Systems Rascal Kayak With Werner Skagit Carbon Shaft Paddle

I’m moving at the end of April, so I’d like to get rid of some bulkier possessions like this Wilderness Systems Rascal rotomold kayak. It’s probably 15-20 years old, but is still in good shape. This boat is very stable and its V-shaped keel tracks very straight. Other than ocean conditions, this kayak is suitable for most bodies of water, but is best for casual day-use and not long distance paddling. STATS: Length: 9'9" Width: 30.5" Depth: 15” Cockpit Length: 31.5" Cockpit width: 17.5" Weight: 42 lbs Maximum Capacity: 300 lbs CONDITION Beyond the typical scratches along the keel, the only other issue is that the cap for the small rear compartment was rolled over by a car, and repaired with epoxy.

It still closes, but I’m not sure how waterproof the compartment is, if it ever was to begin with. Considering the type of paddling I’ve done with this boat though, I’ve never had an issue with it. Included with the kayak is an LL Bean seat cushion and a Werner Skagit carbon shaft paddle that’s in excellent condition. This is normally a $120 paddle. A PFD can be thrown in if needed.
