Sea Kayaks

My wife says that 4 kayaks need to be reduced down to 2, so up for sale is my sea kayak. It is a lightweight honeycomb construction fibreglass, with a trailing rudder. The hull has quite a deep V, so it tracks extremely well in a straight line, yet is quite responsive to edging turns. In windy conditions, the rudder can be used to keep it on course, but would generally be raised out of the water when it’s calm. The boat is 55ish cm wide, so there is a learning curve for inexperienced paddlers, however once your balance has been established, you will be rewarded with a boat that is fast and a joy to paddle.

Theres a small hatch at the bow of the boat, and a larger one to the rear. Both compartments are fully waterproof, and do not leak. The paddle shown will be thrown into the deal. Some scratches on the hull front and rear which are normal wear and tear from beach launches and can be seen in the photos. The original seat cracked, and was removed, so there is no seat fitted.

I use a square of closed cell foam as a seat, which works just fine. Beginners may want a flatter piece to start off with for increased stability. Pick up only. You’ll need proper cradles for your roof rack in order to pick up.
