This hand carved wooden sculpture is made of willow, birch and cottonwood. It was carved by Andeluka (Luke) Maxim of Gulkana Village, Alaska. Luke Maxim(1933-2011) was a member of the Native Alaska group, Ahtna Athabascan. The title of the carving is "Kayak Hunter". It measures 10-1/2" long.
