Clc Patuxen Kit Wooden Kayak 17 1/2 Ft Fiberglass & Wood 1974 Burlington Nj Wow

FOr the purest ---- here is your summer project !!! This appears to be a home made or handcrafted single kayak --- made out of wood .... plywood ..... and fiberglass. These kayaks are built for cruising and not for whitewater use. Former owner says this was a Patuxen model kit ---- by CLC. The date stamped by the maker is 1974.

The kayak appears to be in fairly good shape .... one small hole near a handle ... some wood and parts are loose. Obviously the kayak needs to be reconditioned / refurbished if you are considering using it. Parts may need to be ... patched or replaced .... or refinished or repainted. The kayak is long ---- measuring 17 1/2 ft in length. It is very light in weight .... I would guess about 20 pounds or so.
