I bought this kayak/oars and universal carrier summer of 2017 while I was still living in Surf City, NC not realizing that I was about to move inland to Virginia. I used it twice in the intracoastal waterway and it is in great condition. I never used the universal rack for transporting the kayak. This kayak was great.
