Boat Type: Kayak

Highly recommended creek / river running kayak from the renowned Pyranha brand. One of two we bought in 2008 for relatively gentle trips after we stopped using our white water racing boats (sold a few years ago). They were recommended by our professional kayaking coach at that time and bought at Paddleworks, Llangollen. We loved them but only used them on at most a dozen trips in the UK before other commitments took over. It is the Mark I Burn, which was produced 2006-2010.
Beware other Mark I's being misidentified as Mark II - the tell tale is the diamond version of the Burn logo - Later models have a flame-shape logo. Yellow colour with mottled black 'camouflage' effect. It has the original Connect 30 outfitting, plus:Two stern and one bow Peak UK airbagsYak neoprene spray deck Small/Medium waist size with elasticated (not draw-string) cockpit fitting for an excellent seal Lomo cockpit coverOriginal Pyranha sponge! Product info below is taken from the Playak.com website, which is recommended by Pyranha as a source of info on their discontinued models:Length: 238 cmWidth: 64 cmWeight: 17 kgVolume: 238 ltrCockpit length: 93.5cmCockpit width: 48.5 cmMin paddler weight: 45 kgMax paddler weight: 99 kg It needs to go to a new owner as it is pining the rush of fresh white water! (Equally at home doing a gentle paddle on flat water, with high primary stability, comfortable seat and enough length to make longer trips doable.) Location for personal collection (no courier arrangements, sorry): Cambridge CB4, very near Fitzwilliam College and the city centre end of Huntingdon Road.
