Perception Wavehopper Kayak

Here we have my lovely Wavehopper Kayak. I love this kayak but, we just converted my garage to 3.7mtrs long, and this is 4mtrs long, so I just can’t store it. It is in good working condition with the usual scratches you will get on any used polyethylene canoe. The seat, backrest cockpit, footrest etc are all good, damaged. Please study the pictures to satisfy yourself of it’s condition.

I bought it 2nd hand about 18months ago so can’t tell how old it is. It doesn’t have any fading in the red colour so I’d estimate it at 3-5 years old. I am including a neoprene spraydeck in the sale (nearly new) and will throw in the wooden roof rack cradle which makes it safe and secure on a roof rack. Perception pioneered roto moulded polyethylene canoes in the 80s and they are largely unbreakable. The Wavehopper model is a classic, almost cult whitewater racer design, please research the internet and you will see how popular these are.

It is not for a beginner though as these are fast, but compromise stability for outright speed. I have used it 7 times this year, inc a New Year’s Day paddle with WVCC. Yesterday, I paddled it 3.7miles on a club run and all is good, will be sad to see it go. I will be working away all week so cannot accommodate any viewings. Please study the pictures and bear in mind that it is a polyethylene kayak, so is very robust and strong.
