Perception Sea Lion Fastnet Sea Kayak for sale. Reasonable condition for its age (ca. 1994), sound, watertight hull, rubber hatches in good condition and well-fitting, static and bungee decklines in good condition also. Ideal for larger paddler (I comfortably fit in at 6 ft 2 in, roomy cockpit with adjustable footrest and comfortable seat. 16 foot 7 in long (502cm).

Usual scratches on hull, nothing deep or welded. Some splitting at points where thigh brace screws onto deck, however, does not affect use or performance, still solid (see photo). Bulkheads ok, could do with some re-sealing with Sikaflex 291 Marine as some seepage from cockpit into both hatches following capsize practice. Easy fix in the right hands, not been an issue for me. I have owned this kayak for nearly 4 years and have found it to be an excellent first sea kayak with good stability and keeps up reasonably well with more modern fibreglass boats on sea or river trips.

It is a little heavier than more recent boats at 27kg but can be loaded single-handedly onto SUV with a little ingenuity. Selling due to planned kayak upgrade.
