Perception, "Carolina" 14.5 foot, 1998, Kayak, USED. This kayak is over 20 years old. It has been kept out of the sunlight most of its life. The plastic is still strong, untainted by sunlight except for age. It has many scratches on the hull, especially on the bottom, as expected from a rotomolded kayak.

The foam walls are still in place and still secure. The rubber hatches are old but will still form a good seal. The rudder is still in working order, however the lines on the outside of the kayak should be replaced. I bought this kayak used back in 2000. I am offering at this low price because I just got a new kayak.

Washed and with new deck lines, this kayak will serve you well for years to come. This 'Carolina' style kayak is very stable on the water. Suitable for beginner to intermediate skill levels. I am six feet tall and weigh over 200 lbs, the kayak fit me just fine. Suitable for medium to larger sized adults.

Tracks very well in a straight line. Buyer MUST PICK UP the kayak. I will not ship it as I don't wish for that hassle. Pick up ONLY in Mamaroneck, New York.
