Perception Carolina 12XS Touring Kayak With Paddle, Spraydeck & Airbags

Perception Carolina 12XS touring kayak for kids Perception Carolina 12XS in red/orange. Includes airbags, a paddle and a 'Play Boater' neoprene bungee spraydeck. The kayak is in very good condition, albeit with the usual light scratches (see photos). It has always been stored in a dark garage so has no UV damage and the colours are still vibrant. The paddle is a little older but still has loads of life left in it.

The spraydeck is in excellent condition. This is a touring kayak for kids, great for keeping up with adults on longer paddles as well as just messing about on the water. We had a couple of these which my kids paddled on lakes, slow moving rivers and the sea, where it excelled. As far as sizing goes, these boats are probably good for up to age 13/14 for boys, my eldest was aged 13 in the photo after which he rapidly gained height and outgrew the boat. The video linked below shows one of his brothers in a different, but identically sized Carolina 12XS, aged 10.
