Perception Arc Kayak. I think this kayak is in good condition and since taking kayaking up about 2 years ago it’s been brilliant as a learner. It’s got the normal associated scuffs and scratches you would expect on any kayak that’s been used. I am 5’8”(ish) and there is plenty of room, foot rests go much further back. As a novice I wanted the freedom to ‘get out’ if and when I went over and the cock pit offers plenty of space compared to some other kayaks I’ve seen.
I’ve found it to be easy to manoeuvre and keep in a straight line. As a novice I’ve only used it on rivers, Pulborough, Ouse, and The Medway. No white water/surf etc. All the bolts and fixtures are sound. There are no splits or deep scratches to worry about.
There are no repairs or plastic welds etc. I’ve tried to get the condition as best I can as shown in the photos. Selling due to early Xmas present of a new kayak. Hopefully as s package it will put a smile on someone’s face as it has mine out on the water. I’ve included a Perception Zambezi paddle and a Yak spray deck which is adjustable etc.
I am in the Horsham area, would be willing to deliver within 12 miles or it’s collection only. Cash on collection. Length 280cm approximately. Below is the Perception Arc review, not my words but I agree with what’s said. ‘Perception Arc is a well-proportioned and forgiving kayak designed for many waters.
Suitable for novices to instructors on flat water, white water and surf. Comfort, manoeuvrability and stability are key features of the Arc. The Perception Arc has a forgiving design and is popular with paddlers starting out on white water and surf, through to paddlers looking for a kayak to instruct from.’
