Perception Acadia Kayak, Expedition Spec, Red, With Rudder, Spraydeck And Paddle

Perception Acadia touring kayak, Expedition specification (rear hatch with internal watertight bulkhead and deck elastics). Bought 2002. Rudder retro-fitted using the Perception Navigator rudder designed for the Acadia. Used carefully, cleaned after use and stored inside throughout its life. Some marks and inevitable scratches.

A very stable and comfortable boat, ideal for beginners but with an impressive turn of speed and excellent tracking providing an excellent boat for intermediate standard touring paddlers as well. Designed for coastal waters, estuaries, lake and river touring (water up to grade 2) and has been used in all those areas. Comfortable enough to be paddled for more than 6 hours at a time without landing (escorting long distance swimmers). Rear hatch with considerable space for carrying kit (day paddles and weekend camping trips). The specifications are, length 3.74 metres, width 77 centimetres, weight about 24 Kg and maximum load of 180 kg.

Included in the sale are a Palm spray deck and Lendal Archipelago paddles which have been used with this kayak since it was bought. Both in good condition and have been looked after and stored carefully. The paddles are one piece with a 90 degree feather.
