Aquaterra Perception Keowee 2-Person Kayak

Aquaterra (by Perception) 2-person kayak. Includes everything you’ll need to get in the water: 2 paddles, 3 life jackets (large, medium and child) and blocks for mounting it on your roof if you don’t have a rack. The kayak’s always been stored indoors except for one season when we racked it at the beach. There are a couple of scrapes and nicks on the hull, but nothing serious. It looks a little faded in the pictures, but everything is clean and in good working condition.

This is a larger boat, easily seating two people. 13’6” long and 32” wide, It’s a sit in, not a sit on, so it’s drier and more stable than some others. It’s most similar to the Perception Cove 14.5 that they currently sell (which lists for $929). Great for lakes, slow streams and protected ocean. We’ve taken it as far as about a mile offshore on a calm day.

All-in, this is a pretty easy way to get everything you need to get in the water and try out kayaking.
