Dimension (Old Town) Rush Kayak In Excellent Condition (Accessories Available)

2009 Dimension "Rush" kayak: This kayak has seen little use and is in excellent condition. (I am the second owner.) The only issue is superficial scratches on the bottom of the hull. It has always been properly stored indoors when not in use. This "Rush" is very similar to some of the "Rush" model kayaks previously produced under the "Old Town" name. ("Dimension" and "Old Town" were absorbed into the conglomerate that is known as "Johnson Outdoors".) This model uses a Seals (or equivalent) 1.7 size sprayskirt.

It is a fun little kayak that can definitely handle *some* whitewater conditions (properly skirted!). Reviews for the "Rush" model kayak can be found on the Paddling.com website under the "Old Town Canoe" and "OT Sport" names. Specifications according to manufacturer:-- 9'6" in length-- 28.5 in. Beam (max width)-- 39 lbs.-- Padded seat-- Adjustable footbraces (good ones from the "Old Town" days)-- Max. Capacity of 225 - 275 lbs.

(I think anyone over 200 lbs. Should definitely test-paddle it. I believe the max. Capacity is probably more like 225 - 250 lbs.) Advertised price is for the kayak only, but I have a plethora of accessories (used) available for purchase at very reasonable prices. I'm very willing to make a "package deal", but given the variety of accessories that I have available, it just wouldn't be possible for me to spell it all out in this listing.

I *may* be interested in putting my "Rush" up for trade for/toward another kayak, but I'll give some beginning guidelines as to what may or may not be of interest to me (and "trade value" for this kayak would be higher than my cash price): I have NO interest in Sundolphins, anything made by Pelican International, etc., and no whitewater kayaks. My fleet is as much a collection as it is for use. I relish in the more rare and obscure models (so long as they still fit my possible use) and I'm particularly fond of the old "Old Town" or "OT Sport" kayaks (especially the ones made of the old Polylink3 material).
