I haven’t been out in over a year and the kayak and equipment are gathering dust. It’s an exhaustive list but a great set of quality kit for anyone who wants the whole lot. Here goes: Ocean Kayak Trident 13 in yellow. In great condition, a few launching scratches.
I am 6’ 4” and weigh close to 17st and I find it a very stable kayak and fishing platform. The rudder makes it easy to steer too. Ocean Kayak seat Retractable pedal steering rudder Full anchor trolley with zigzag cleat 2 surface mounted rod holders 2 ram mounts and holders with rod leashes 1 cannon rod holder that came with the kayak when new and leash One other rod holder of unknown make Internally fitted transducer Humminbird Piranahmax 170 fish finder, 12v battery and fitted battery bag Werner Tybee 2 piece adjustable carbon shaft paddle and paddle leash Paddle retainer on kayak Solas tape to deck C-Tug trolley with sand hopper wheels Home made crate (Tesco delivery crate) with two rod holders, cutting board and knife Anchor, chain, adjustable trip link McMahon 100m line dive reel for anchor, float and floating rope attached for quick release anchor trolley system Spare cheapie dive reel and line Inflatable paddle float to help you get back on board if you are struggling Air inflatable buoyancy bag to fit inside Kayak to prevent it sinking should it get flooded – never fitted, still in packaging Drogue with lines Extendable single “get me home” paddle that easily fits in the hull Ortileb folding bowl Length of rope Small rope with clip for tying up to a buoy Pair of paddling gloves Large dry bag, which is great for storing, wet anchor stuff Medium dry bag Small dry bag – good to keep your car keys in ICOM IC-M33 VHF Marine Radio with charger Coleman PFD buoyancy aid with whistle, emergency knife and retractable line cutter Thule Glide and Set Kayak carrier that attach to standard roof bars (roof bars not included) Thule straps Home made suction pads and rollers to assist in getting the kayak on your car roof A tub of bits and pieces, stainless screws, well nuts, rivets etc. I think that’s the lot apart from my dry suit and one piece thermal liner, which I will probably sell separately as not everyone, is 6’ 4”. I want to sell all this as one lot but if it doesn’t sell within a few weeks I’ll think about selling bits separately .
If bought new this lot would cost about £1800. I’m looking for £900. I am in Thrapston, Northamptonshire. Buyer collects. It is listed for sale elsewhere so may be withdrawn from sale.
PayPal or cash on collection. No cheques. Thanks.
