Moving from Maryland to Santa Cruz, California, so selling my whitewater kayak and some related accessories: the Wave Sport EZG 42 kayak, 1 skirt, 2 float bags, 1 cockpit seal, various foam sizes to tweak the boat to your particular size, and original instructions. Lightly used, and in excellent condition (see pictures); well maintained and always stored either in my basement or shed. Original purchase price of the kayak and accessories was $1,171.43. I’m starting the bid at $1 to let the market decide its current value. But local pickup only, so this kayak isn’t for you if you can’t pick it up.
Wave Sport classified the EZG kayak as follows: This style of paddling involves negotiating moderately difficult rapids while still looking for spots to ‘play’ along the way. Boats in this category are essentially playboats with training wheels. They the are slightly longer than full-on playboats. Designed to be less aggressive than a full-on playboat in exchange for a more forgiving nature while negotiating rapids. Excellent for beginner to intermediate paddlers looking to become playboaters.
Also great for advanced paddlers who want a playful design that will run moderately difficult rapids. For the EZG 42 in particular, it has a volume of 42 gallons, sized for a 80-140 lbs. Paddler, has dimensions of 6’6” x 24” x 11.5”, and a weight of 31 lbs. For more details, see https://www.wavesport.com/sites/default/files/documents/products/WS%202006.pdf
