Valley Skerry RM sea Kayak. 17’ rotomoulded sea Kayak. New hatch covers, front hatch cover is click on rubber. Rear hatch cover is a reed aquatherm. Both are watertight and well fitted.

Hatch rims in good condition.Skeg is working and in good condition, new shock cord. Deck has new shock cord and added rear shockcorded netting for easy to reach kit. Hull in good condition, scratched underside but nothing too deep and what you would expect from a sea kayak of this age. It’s an agile kayak, resonable speed; I’ve completed some long trecks in her along the river Thames as well as the north coast of Cornwall and she’s happy to cruise around 5 knots. A very capable kayak, tracks well on long river trips but more than happy in the North Cornish waves.

First stability good, second stability is legenderly. She’s reasonably easy to roll too. An ocean cockpit makes you feel close to the water and super stable. I’m 6” and find her the perfect size. Getting in and out of an ocean cockpit is slightly harder than key hole but I quickly got the hang of it.

I’m selling for a Klepper (a long story which involves 350 miles of North Sea). Based in Richmond, west London. Buyer collects but happy to be in for a delivery service or drop off if not too far for petrol money.
