Seaward Chilco - Kayak

I purchased this Kayak new in 2002 new. I used it about 20 times, but it has sat or hung in my garage over the years mostly unused.It is pretty much in mint condition except for a few scratches on the bottom. I'm amazed to see that Seaward is still making pretty muchthe same kayak today, 15 years later. That is a real testament to the quality and design of the kayak. I envisioned long trips with it, but two more children came along and the years have rolled on by.

Kayak comes with cockpit cover and a skirt. Seaward's Description on their website is The Chilco has a multi-chined, low-rocker hull for high speed and effortless tracking. Well-defined chines allow the kayak to have a relatively small wetted surface and solid stability for edging turns. The shallow "V" of the hull makes this lightweight expedition kayak stable while at rest or underway. The acceleration and forward speed is very fast.

Easy rolling and low wind resistance in adverse conditions are a result of the Chilco's low profile. The ergonomic cockpit design allows easy entry and it's thigh braces accommodate a variety of paddler sizes. We will wrap the Kayak in bubble wrap and prepare it will for safe shipping, at your cost.
