Sea Kayak Nigel Dennis Kayaks Explorer HV - Used but a beautiful adventurer. This kayak was bought second hand with two veneer cracks (as shown in images)...that was ten years ago and has since been on a number of Scottish explores and also on the quieter waters of the Lake District. Designed for rough water and covering distances, this expedition kayak is maneuvrable, direction stable and carries higher loads. Dimensions are as follows: length: 533.5 cm, width: 56 cm, depth: 35 cmOverall volume: 319 litres, front hatch volume: 73 litres, cockpit volume: 152 litres, day hatch volume: 38 litres, rear hatch volume: 56 litres.It is designed for the larger paddler (and I am 6'1", 12st 9lb and fit very nicely). The Explorer HV is fitted with the high performance glass seat.

The kayak has a low rear deck for easier rolling, a keyhole cockpit that gives excellent grip, control and allows quick exit if need be. Sadly, back difficulties will prevent me from any further adventures...and this boat has many more of these in it. It needs to go to a new explorer (albeit very reluctantly) I appreciate the veneer cracks may be visually off-putting to begin with, albeit are only slight. But please be certain that they do not impede the boat. The rudder wiring also needs reassembling but there are instructions on the internet (as I have needed to use them on a few occasions - I think this is a characteristic of this kayak!) I no longer have roof bars so I cannot offer to deliver it, or meet you halfway.

It needs collecting from the door. Cash is preferred please on this occasion.
