P&h Capella Sea Kayak

DescriptionI have for sale a yellow P&H Capella Sea Kayak (I believe this is the 160 model). This is a square hatch version of the classic P&H Capella, with plenty of space for storing gear. The hull has lots of scrapes (as shown in the photos) from beach landing, however despite these, the kayak is fantastic and lovely to paddle! It's worth pointing out that this is the P&H (original) version of the Capella, which is constructed out of 3 layers RM plastic. Venture now make the new Capella, which is nowhere near as stiff or strong.

A pump has been added so you do not need to carry a separate pump. There is a wire activated plastic skeg. This works perfectly, which is unusual for a sea kayak with this system (often the wire gets buckled due to beaching with the skeg down), so no problems there to sort out. When I got the kayak the skeg was broken - it is now in full working order. The square hatch covers have deteriorated and will need changing.

Readily available online.The seat is in fine condition, as are the two adjustable foot rests inside the cockpit, which can be re-positioned to suit different leg sizes. This is a great boat and would be ideal for someone looking to get their first proper sea kayak or those looking for a tough boat they can take surfing or rockhopping.
