This kayak comes complete with a free spray deck. *Free Spray Deck: Ideal for use in most conditions, but especially on rough water and in inclement weather, to prevent water entering the kayak’s cockpit. The spray deck is secured to the rim surrounding the cockpit and prevents water infiltration while allowing passengers to quickly release it if the boat should capsize. To aid easy release if the boat capsizes a grab loop is attached at the front of the spray deck which the Kayak-er can use to pull free.
