The Cruise Control is a hard-playing boat that is extremely responsive. It is a creeking boat with squirt-like abilities. The generous size of the Cruise Control accommodates people up to 240 pounds while serving as a superior creeking boat for those under 180 pounds. All paddlers will realize new potential in this boat that is ready to set you free on heavy runs. - - - JW Forums.... It is a creeking boat with squirt-like abilities.

It has very low volume in the rear, and high volume in the front which means it will not bury its nose and it makes it an all-around boat. Also it has hard chines, and this gives it superb turning control.
Pulling out of an eddy was a dream. It is relatively easy to eskimo roll. I originally owned a brand new New Wave Mongoose. I tried out the Cruise Control in a swimming pool, and I was so impressed that I immediately swapped my Mongoose. As soon as I tried it out in moving water my confidence took a massive boost from its precise handling and generally solid feel.
My enjoyment of whitewater kayaking took an immediate upturn too. But it is with enormous regret that I must finally admit that I am too old, and too fat and too far from the mountains to use my Cruise Control Kayak. I got it in 1998, a month or so before my employer moved me to Florida. I got to use it three or four times before moving down here, and only once or twice since then. (There is no whitewater in Florida.) It has lived in my garage ever since.
The boat is in excellent condition. The boat has: - - - two inflatable buoyancy bags which tuck behind the seat. - - - a foam backrest, - - - and two inflatable floatation bags. - - - Also included is the spray skirt shown in the photo which is in good condition, but not the sawdust shown in the picture. :=) Shipping I have not included shipping in this auction, as it is a very variable item.
I will pack the boat in bubble wrap and cardboard, and I can take it to a shipping facility. The cost of shipping is the buyers responsibility, and is additional to the cost of the boat. Of course local pickup is possible in Central Florida area. I also have a Werner paddle which I will list separately.
