Marsport Mk1 Hobby K1 Racing Kayak

Description This kayak was 'sold' on classifieds board several weeks back. Unfortunately, the purchaser did not pay for it. Why you would bid for something and then not pay is beyond me! Anyway, I am now relisting it. This is a Marsport K1 racing kayak, ideal for DW training.

It is glass fibre and supposedly weighs about 14 kilos (I've not weighed it myself). It is 17ft in length. It has a pull bar at the foot plate which can be removed. The steering / rudder work fine. When my K2 partner couldn't make training I would hop into one of these (which is why I bought it).

It is a strong and stable boat (stability 8). The listing description and photographs accurately reflect the item listed. I purchased this kayak in the Spring of this year via classifieds board but,unfortunately I have never used it. I have done a fair bit of kayaking over the past 30 odd years but golf seemed to win throughout the summer! I've now gutted a lot of the house and lost the garage storage area.

Being realistic, I'm not likely to get any use out of it so have decided to re-sell - along with the paddle and v-bars (see other listings). After several watersides and three DW's I've thrown in the towel. Condition The item is pre-owned but the condition is good. I see no reason why it wouldn't be fine on the water - it was sold to me as such. I've never used it though but it looks sound.
