Marsport Hobby K1 Race Kayak Canoe

This is an auction for my Marsport Hobby 2 K1, please do not ask for buy it now. This kayak is stability 8, so nice stable boat for someone aiming to do the Devizes Westminster race, only 5 weeks training left!! The construction is glass fibre; the most robust but not the lightest, this weighs 14 kg with the seat in. The seat is a standard river type seat, I have fitted a pull bar to the foot plate but this can be easily removed. The boat is in Chippenham Wiltshire, it can be tried at Devizes CCOn 22-Feb-18 at 22:26:08 GMT, seller added the following information: Sorry after checking Marsport website, this is a mk1 rather than mk2.

My mistake I thought the new one without the skeg was mk3. So this one must be a mk1.I’ve paddled both and there isn’t a great difference in speed with/without the skeg. Having the skeg I think reduces the chance of catching weed and slowing progress.
