These are hand made of ash wood struts and a canvas covering, they are a work of art and break down small and easy for transport. The craftsmanship, materials and being made in the USA is why they are more costly but they will last a lot longer than a cheap plastic kayak and look great on the water - thats why we bought them over a cheap blowup kayak.
