Large Sit In Kayak - Emotion Glide, Ideal For Summer Fun

Large Sit in kayak. Used but in good condition, blue plastic kayak that I've used for sea and river kayaking. Not used for a few years so time for it to go. It can cater for a wide weight range/body size, easily upto 15 stone and beyond with a buoyancy aid. An attractive looking kayak and the pointed front means it easily moves through the water and breaks through rough seas.

I was consistently faster than my friend in his sit on top bulbous nosed kayak. Relatively wide body so feels nice and stable in the water. Made of plastic, it's very light fornits size and can be picked up easily by one person. Some scratches to the underside but these are superficial. The kayak has a number of external attachment lines/points to attach kit to and also a screw bung that allows you to empty water out from one end.

The seat is padded on the bottom and rear making it very comfortable to use. The seat folds down so its easy to stow things in the rear or store it upside down flat. There are also internal adjustable foot pegs so that you can get nice and braced. The cockpit is massive so very easy to get in and out of. It also has a huge amount of internal space for storage so great for taking lunch/drinks etc on a long trip.

It comes with: A decent metal core paddle and bungee elastic to attach to the kayak in case you drop it. A xl size yak kayak smock, old with some water marks, still does the job. A yellow internal buoyancy aid that sits within the rear of the kayak, making this ideal for the heavier kayaker. Its discolured but still seems to hold air. Palm spraydeck with elastic shoulder straps.

Only used this a couple of times as it was so tight and hard to put on. I do have a couple of kayak bars that can be used to easily take it off and on a standard roofrack, for separate negotiation with the winner. Collection only from St Leonards.
