Klepper S2 Sail Kit For Aerius 2 Tandem Kayak

1980's? Original lightly used Klepper S2 SAIL kit in a storage bag. Sails are Dacron (not cotton) with all aluminum spars. The cotton lines are original but serviceable and may need upgrading. The sails have minor stains.

There is a small repair on the main sail see photo. Sail appears to have been pinched so I put clear sail tape repair on both sides. This Klepper S2 sail kit consists of a jib and main sail giving you a total sail area of 55 sq. ft. Each set contains a three section mast, boom, lee-boards,lee-board bracket, shrouds (mast stays), main/jib sheets, halyard and storage bag. The total weight is ~14lbs with a packed length of ~60 inches.All the Klepper Aerius 2 or Long Haul Tandem kayaks come ready and equipped to accept a S2 sail rig through the cockpit deck fitting.

Older frames may need a mortise for the mast base. For beginners as well as the serious sailor the Klepper kayak easily converts to a fun and serious sail boat. PLEASE NOTE KAYAK NOT INCLUDED. This kit has been lightly used. Included is a copy of the original Klepper sailing manual.
