Kirton Kayaks Tasman K2 - 

Owned by us from new, bought via Marsport, a Kirton Kayaks Tasman K2 in fibreglass. The kayak is around 25 years old, was used on the Thames for leisure purposes perhaps 8-10 times, and has been stored at all other times on slings in our garage roofspace, in the dark. It is in pretty much 10/10 condition, with no crazing anywhere in the gel coat, no chips or significant grazes that I can find, and fewer scuffs on the underside of the hull than I have seen on some new kayaks. I spoke to Marsport about it this week and their advice is that we have given it pretty much ideal storage conditions and that there is no reason why it should not be in A1 condition. The Tasman is still, I understand, rated as an ideal kayak for charity teams and beginners to do the DW in, with a stability rating of 10, and enough speed to keep things interesting.

Current new price of the glass fibre Tasman is £1,900. We will include a pair of paddles made by Marsport to go with the Tasman, two boyancy aids, and two hidiously yellow spray skirts. We are near Hungerford in West Berkshire, 5 minutes from J14 of the M4. I will not be posting this item, or sending it to Europe, and I am advertising it elsewhere...
