CONSUMER WARNING! Many sellers that claim to offer a similar product for a far lesser price are stretching the facts as to the performance standards of their product in a dry soft beach sand environment. The FACT is if you are not using some form of a TRUE low air pressure balloon tire, regardless if it is our product or another brand, you are going to be extremely disappointed with the performance of that item and will be wasting your time and money. Our statement may be a little bias, however our experience is if you are going to move anything over 30 lbs through dry soft beach sand without a proper beach, balloon or sand tire, YOU WILL BE DRAGGING IT! ……. So Buyer BEWARE!!!

Perfect for hauling kayaks, paddle boards, coolers, or any other heavy equipment over soft beach sand terrain. It's all about the beach wheels. There is truly nothing on the market that comes close to what they can do.
Other options fall short of this important feature. We have done test after test looking for the BEST options to move large loads across soft beach sand and other surfaces. Anything less is like pulling a stack bricks through molasses. It would be a huge mistake to compare these wheels to anything else to roll on soft beach sand. These highly durable specialty made balloon wheels are tear and puncture resistant, designed to flatten and hover over a pliable surface area before fully placing a load onto it.
The Kahuna Beach Wheels help you glide over the softest beach sand instead of digging a trench into it. The purpose is to reduce drag, thus saving you the hard work of pulling your stuff to the beach. These low air pressure wheels are made of heavy duty poly urethane, and work best in sand at 2.5 - 3 PSI (Pounds Per Square Inch). The maximum air pressure is at 4 PSI. It is suggested to test each wheel with a low pressure tire gauge to maintain optimum performance.
Just a few pumps with a standard hand operated bicycle pump will be enough to fill each wheel. A Schrader valve extension may be needed depending on the size of your bicycle pumps nozzle fitting. The lower the air pressure the easier it is to move through sand, however you may sacrifice some stability with a lower air pressure. It may be wise to adjust your tire pressure based on the conditions you are using the wheels. This Single beach wheel tire can move a max payload of 121 pounds over just about any surface.
Even though this All-Terrain Tire is made of the thickest polyurethane on the market it is advised to use with caution in heavy vegetation with thorns or sharp sticks under heavy loads. It would also be wise to avoid glass or sharp jagged rocky areas to avoid punctures. These low pressure pneumatic tires are designed for off road at a walking pace. We can NOT guarantees the ability, fitness, or physical strength of any customer or user to move any specified weight payload across any type of surface. The payload weight limitations on each wheel are the limitations for the tire itself.
As a frame of reference an average fit female using two 12 inch beach wheels should be able to haul roughly 135 pounds with moderate effort across dry soft beach sand as demonstrated in the video link above. Proper Care & Use 1. Do NOT overload beyond the 121 lb. Weight load capacity, as stated on each wheel. 2. Do NOT over inflate the beach wheels beyond the 4 PSI as stated on each wheel.
Use a low pressure tire gauge to determine proper air pressure. 3. Do NOT use pressurized air to fill the beach wheels. Use a manual bicycle pump. 4. Do NOT leave large heavy loads on the tire for extended periods of time. This could cause the tire to deform. 5.
Do NOT Store outdoors over long periods of time in the direct sun. Prolonged direct exposure to sunlight could decrease the strength of the polyurethane tires. Following these simple instructions above will allow you to keep your wheels in top condition for years. We are using wheels well over 4 years old with very little maintenance.
