*** For the Buy-It-Now price, I will include the custom-made Seals sprayskirt and an additional $50 credit toward any other accessories ****** This listing was posted using an classifieds board special-offer promotion and will NOT be renewed *** Janautica Anadyr fiberglass kayak: 17'4" in length (IIRC)21 - 21.5" beam (max. Width)Bow and Stern hatches w/bulkheadsAdjustable footpegsThere may be a few very light scratches on the bottom of the hull, but that's pretty much it. (I think some of the artwork may be worn a bit.) It has always been stored indoors when not in use. I am the second owner of this kayak and have rarely gotten to use it yet myself as it's not one to be beaten on the rocks. Reviews for this kayak can be found here: https://paddling.com/reviews/product/splashdance-kayaks-anadyr-1-kayak/ (Contrary to what is indicated there, the Anadyr was not manufactured by Splashdance, but by Janautica.
Splashdance (Florida) was the only importer to the U.S. As the kayak was manufactured in Italy. By the way, the fiberglass was hand-laid during the manufacturing process. It's also the only kayak I've ever encountered that actually has a "negative" rocker. You're highly unlikely to encounter anyone else paddling an Anadyr -- or any other Janautica kayak for that matter.)Ohio registration recently expired and would have to be renewed by an Ohio owner in order to be legally used on Ohio waterways.Accessories available for purchase in CASH upon pickup of kayak (all items in "used" condition unless stated otherwise, photos available upon request):-- Swiss Cargo 3 in 1 multifunction carriers (pair): I used them on the minivan with factory installed oval bars.
They may or may not fit other bar shapes. No straps included. -- $40-- Thule Hull-A-Port J-style carriers (pair) (835XT): I also used these on the minivan with factory installed oval bars. I don't think they fit other bar shapes, but not entirely certain of that. Includes a pair of Thule camstraps.
(box also included, but I'll have to do some digging to see if I can come up with the bowline.) -- $50-- Foam block carrier kit: I think I have a new set somewhere or I should be able to put one together -- $20-- Seattle Sports paddle float (new-in-package) -- $20-- Seattle Sports basic safety kit (new-in-package (unused)) -- $30 (includes paddle float and bilge pump)-- Small watertight box (blue, never been used yet) -- $5-- Several Stearns type IV PFDs (white, blue, orange) -- willing sell one or two for $5 (each)-- Several Stearns type II PFDs (orange "horse-collar", I don't think any of them have even left the garage since purchase) -- I'll include one for free if you remind me.-- X20 model 200 type III PFD (new, blue) -- $15-- I believe I have a "slightly-used" blue Stearns type III PFD -- $10-- Harmony cockpit cover -- $20-- Brand new (never used) custom-made neoprene (some nylon on tunnel) Seals sprayskirt (Sea Sprite model in aqua/black) (cost in excess of $150) -- $70 (looks sharp!) Paddles (All paddles offered below are 230cm and are in "lightly-used" condition (unless noted otherwise). Listed prices apply only to the first paddle purchased. Although I *may* be willing to sell additional paddles, I probably wouldn't do so at the listed prices.):-- Cannon Escape aluminum shaft, black blades -- $25-- Carlisle Day Tripper aluminum shaft, black blades -- $25-- Carlisle HS Magic 2 fiberglass shaft, orange blades -- $40 (Note: This is a small-diameter shaft paddle.)-- Aqua-Bound Manta Ray aluminum shaft, orange blades -- $40-- Werner (Point Tour model??) fiberglass shaft (yellow), beige(?) blades -- $35 (Note: This paddle *may* have been a bit more used, heavy-duty paddle!)*** To maximize efficiency of this nice kayak, I believe a shorter, higher-quality paddle should be used, but I included the above list of paddles since that is what I currently have to offer *** I have been kayaking for well over a decade and have gained much experience in many varied locations. Feel free to contact me with any kayaking related questions that you may have. *** If weather conditions allow, I can take you to the Maumee River for a test paddle.
Test paddle would probably have to take place no later than 17 June as we won't be able to easily access deeper water due to the Waterville bridge closure. ***
