Itiwit Inflatable Kayak

Decathlon, Triboard, Itiwit 2 inflatable kayak. We have owned this kayak for a number of years and it has been absolutely brilliant for paddles along the river and even coastal paddling (calm waters in France mainly). Although owned for a long time it has not been used that often, mainly on holidays and a few weekends each year, mainly due to getting a second 3 seater version to take both children out on as they grew bigger. This is the older style Itiwit 2 and has more substantial handles with rubber grips, nets in the back of the seats and paddle straps on the side handles to carry a spare paddle, it has two velcro strips for the seats making them very secure (newer version has one) and larger skegs which keep her very straight in the water. Reasonable storage in the front and rear to carry daypacks as well as netting over the rear to store items (usually the pump).

Folds into the bag which has space and straps to carry paddles, the bag also has shoulder straps and can be carried easily with these (would recomend a towel over each shoulder for longer walks :-)). We usually use it with one child and one adult, though we have managed to plonk our younger son in the middle without a seat as well, it is ideal for one adult and one child up to a teenager, two slighter adults or two children whilst parental factors paddle separately as it is incredibly stable. It can be used as a single seat as well by removing one seat and moving the other to the middle. I believe the Itiwits are based off Sevylor kayaks, as such, the inflatable bladders are secured inside a nylon outer skin, providing protection from any bumps or sharps, and can be removed and replaced or repaired if required. It is rather sandy at the moment but is in very good condition.

As the weather is getting better and the various spring bank and Easter holidays approach this will give hours of fun on inland rivers, lakes or at sunny beaches :-). This auction is for the kayak and pump only. Buyer will need to collect in person - within a sensible distance and at an agreed extra cost (fuel and inconvenience) delivery by us may be possible.
