Folbot Greenland Ii Spray Skirt

I recently purchased a used Folbot Greenland II kayak that came with a spray skirt. Since I am a fair weather kayaker, I have no need for the spray skirt. Here is your chance to purchase one. Since the Folbot Company has been out of business for many years, it is very difficult or impossible to find one of these for sale. The spray skirt is red in color and is made of some type of nylon type fabric which appears to be water resistant or water proof.

The skirt has Velcro all around the edge enabling it to attach to the Velcro on the kayak’s coaming. The skirt has a metal grommet hole near the front which enables it to attach to the metal coaming cover. It also comes with 2 “chimneys” which attach to the spray skirt and also attach to the 2 paddlers enabling ever greater water protection. I don’t know the age of the spray skirt, since the elderly gentleman that I purchased it from could not remember when he bought it and the kayak new. Because this Greenland II has polycarbonate ribs and metal tubing, I would guess that the spray skirt is from the early 1990’s.

It doesn’t appear to be faded, or have any rips or tears. Because of the good condition and not being soiled, I wonder if it was ever used at all. The kayak and the spray skirt were nicely stored in the elderly gentleman’s garage, out of the heat and sunlight. Please contact me if you have any questions. I don’t want to leave any important information out of this listing. I will not sell or ship it outside of the U.S. No exceptions. I had a couple of bad experiences trying to sell items outside of the U.S. A few years ago, and I do not wish to repeat that.
