All of the kit is clean and in excellent condition, only been to sea 3 times, washed down after each use.
The kayak itself has a few surface scuffs as to be expected, all of which can be smoothed out if really desired. No deep scratches anywhere. Always kept under a cover, never exposed to sunlight or frost in storage. It is brightly coloured yellow and orange, I don't believe in going to sea on a blue/ grey/ green camouflage kayak, right? I can take you through everything, how to set things up etc.
And general tips on getting started if you buy. One thing to note. This is a mid-range kayak, it's very stable and an excellent choice for your first boat. It is heavier than more expensive models like Ocean Kayak/ Hobie but way better value and a good confidence building platform to get you started. You can stand up on it on a fairly rocky sea, I tried.
It's actually pretty easy to self rescue from inverted too due to how it's been designed. Provided you have somewhere sensible to store it and can either trolley it straight to the water or have the requisite roof bars and muscle to put it on car then you'll be fine, but please don't expect to send the missus over in a Ford Fiesta to take it home. I can deliver, to a 10 mile(ish) radius of Worthing. Otherwise, I'll help you get her on the roof nice and safe no probs will throw in a couple of ratchet straps :) Viewings can be arranged once we've exchange messages but it's currently (temporarily) wedged in my back passage (ooh er) and is going to be a bit of a faff bringing out every day for tyre kickers. So if you're genuinely interested, we'll organise a time for me to bring her round to go over in good detail.
You'll be way ahead of the queues in the Spring and ready to rock!
