Feathercraft Khatsalano S Sea Kayak

For sale is a used Feathercraft Khatsalano S sea kayak.. It is a 1998 model and is in great condition. 17 feet, 7 inches long. For specifics there is a lot of information about this kayak model online. The skin has no tears, rips or repairs. There are installed keel strips.

The frame is in great condition; no bends, dents, etc. If you are familiar with how these are assembled there are a couple of very simple things that could be replaced to make this like a new kayak; however, the kayak can be assembled and taken out without any problems as is. There are 3 lever locks that have some wear (which is normal), that can be easily replaced; but they work just fine. For spares, I have 5 new lever locks with rivets; 4 small delrin blocks with two holes and rivets; 4 small delrin blocks with single hole and rivets; and 10 rivets with spacers --- all brand new in a bag as spares. I also have a spare bow plate included too.

I try and keep my stuff looking like it is brand new as much as possible. This kayak is in great condition and will provide many more years of adventure if taken care of properly. It has always been stored indoors in air conditioning in a smoke-free, odor-free environment. New these kayaks went for several thousand dollars; and are well known for being fast, agile, and rollable. I have moved on to white water kayaking as a hobby now.. so, I have this kayak up for sale for someone to enjoy and have great adventures with.

It does not have a sea sock. However it does come with a bow and stern inflatable float bags, neoprene spray skirt, the XL backpack it is all supposed to fit in, cockpit cover, large storage bag, old paper instructions, rudder kit, padded seat, and thigh braces. No paddles included. Shipping and handling will be $200; and may require 2 or perhaps 3 boxes. Skin is shipped in one box, frame and accessories will ship in the second box.

If this is too heavy, accessories will ship in a third box. This includes tracking and insurance via US Postal Service. I WILL NOT SHIP TO CANADA, MEXICO, AK, HI OR OVERSEAS. CONTINENTAL USA ONLY. NO APO OR FPO EITHER.
