Condition: good length overall (LOA): 15”11” make / manufacturer: Feathercraft model name / number: K1 expedition sea kayak propulsion type: human Hi, I have a feathercraft k1 expedition touring kayak. It is 15"6" and in good conditon. The first picture I just got out of the water so that’s why the skin looks like that. It has all original parts. Also comes with a carbon fiber feathercraft paddle.

It folds down into the backpack shown in the picture and can be re assembled very quickly. This is a rare model because it has the hatches on it which is super helpful to get gear inside with a skin on frame kayak. The aluminum frame is made by Boeing and is incredibly strong and corrosion resistant. It is also in excellent condition. The skin will never rot and it comes with a rudder that attaches very easily and help tracks very well although you don't really need it as the boat is very stable on its own.

Feathercraft was the first to introduce rudders like these and they do not make them like this anymore so it’s very good to have on tough seas.Please contact for more info. Hi Lakeland Kayaker, Is your K1 still available? If so, can ask what year model it is? Feathercarft made a couple of design changes elver time, so I am just trying to figure out which one you have. Is the cockpit coambing separate or part of the skin permanently? Thanks, a Tampa Kayaker (but no longer living in Tampa)
