It is very stable, it runs straight (as you might guess from the name) and turns on a six pence especially if you use foot controls to steer the rear rudder. This is a touring/sea kayak. My good friend has the same and when he attended a sea going course the instructor couldn't get over how fast it was as he was paddling an out an out sea kayak. The plastic is durable and will withstand all the bumps and bruises you can throw at it.

This one you will be pleased to know doesn't have any bumps or bruises and is in excellent condition. I've used it less than a dozen times I'd say there are the usual minor scratches on the bottom that reflect this low usage. The seat is very adjustable as are the foot controls for the rudder. Once the rudder is brought up out of the water by the controls next to the cockpit the foot rest become fixed. The stands I am keeping for my canoe.
