BerleyPro Will-I-Loader 1 (35-45kg) The BerleyPro Will-I-Loader is designed with a unique locking gear and gas strut arrangement to be used in both the loading and unloading of kayaks. We recommend taking most of your accessories off the kayak while traveling but make sure you allow for them when choosing the size. Purchased the NextGen 10 and was able to test it out on a local lake the other day. Was very happy with how easy it was to get into it from a ledge that was higher than the seat. On the water once the rudder was down stability was fantastic easy to paddle through the lake even with the wind kicking up a bit. Still need to land a fish in it. After conversations with my 2 brothers we took the plunge and bought one each.. delivery was smooth and the kayak is packed well to avoid damage. Paul M. I think the trimaran hull is the answer to this. I have tried standing in it on flat water and it works, and I also took it out on the bay in quite choppy water and it handles itself really well. I am now buying soft water cells and drybags and planning a 6 day trip down the Darling River. So far I am pretty sure it will carry the weight and have the storage space I need. The size of the kayak makes it easy to put on the roof of the car and carry by hand if needed (but I did buy the wheels that fit into the scupper holes).

It was an easy pickup from the wharehouse. No issues with the quality so far and all the info I need online. Very good kayak in this price range. Quite light to carry, considering the load capacity. Only criticism of the NextGen 9 is it wiggles side to side when paddling - will be adding a rudder to help stabilise this. It's light enough that I can get it on my SUV by myself, I found it to be very stable on the lake, the chair was very comfortable (need to test past 1hr) and the 2 cup holders came in handy!
