Ascend D12 Sit-In Kayak

This is an Ascend D12 kayak from Bass Pro Shop. The 12 foot sit-in kayak is a single piece roto-molded deck and hull with a tunnel design for increased stability. Its larger size provides more storage area and it is rated for a max capacity of 350 lbs. It has adjustable foot rests, padded knee supports on the cockpit sides, a large forward covered storage compartment, a small waterproof compartment located on the dash and the rear storage well is molded to hold a 5 gallon bucket or a milk crate. There is an elastic paddle keeper on the right and two separate molded in cross-cockpit paddle rests.

The seat is very comfortable and removable and has a keeper leash so you won’t lose it. The hull is 29” wide and I’ve seen it listed as 68lbs. In some literature and 74 lbs. In other info. I purchased the kayak in 2014 but did not use it right away then one thing led to another and never did use it.

It has never been on the water and was stored hanging in the garage. Included is the fishing rod holder that came with it along with horizontal or vertical mounts for the rod holder, a basic 96” two blade paddle, a 13 foot heavy duty storage “bag” and a two wheel cart to help move the kayak around on the ground. The plastic color design of the kayak is arbitrary due to the roto-mold process and the front end of the hull was mostly black so I decided to paint that area with some redstreaks.
