Alvik By Boreal Design - Sea Kayak - Made With Kevlar

This Boreal Design Alvik Sea Kayak was thoroughly enjoyed and is still in good condition. Made in Canada, this is the Kevlar version. Weighs approximately 48 pounds. Has some heavy scratches but none are through the gel coat. Cost new approximately $3900.

We purchased it in 2002. Condition: used and in usable condition. Scratches in the hull, could use as is or cleanup with gel coat. Scratches in the deck could be buffed out. Deck bungees are original and need replacing before a long trip.

Hatches seal pretty good, they has always leaked a little in heavy boarding seas. The rudder and pedals are great condition. The seat cover is torn at the top, but seat is otherwise in good condition. In summary, it’s a good boat you can use as is or put a little TLC into it for that next big trip. Accessories: Skirt, throw bag, hand pump, deck compass, mesh bag, dry bag, paddle pogies, paddle float, and life jacket included and all in good condition.

Cockpit storage cover needs to be replaced. Paddle is NOT included.
