Our racks will easily fit most factory and after market square, oval, or flat cross bars on vehicles today. Fits crossbars that are up to 3-1/2" wide square or rectangle. Fits crossbars 1-1/2" at least in diameter for oval.

Crossbars run from the driver side of the vehicle to the passenger side. Racks will not fit on bars that run from the front of the vehicle to the back of the vehicle. Come with 2 different sets of bottom mounting plates one curved and one straight (flat), depending on your need. Due to it's efficient design you will still have plenty of room on your vehicle cross bar to hold other things. All mounting hardware is provided.

It's designed to transport kayaks on their side, saving space and allowing you transport 2 kayaks on one vehicle. Please view the enclosed pictures to see how they can be mounted to various vehicles and how easy they are to use. You can also see in the photos the new mounting nuts are nylon insert lock nuts, which are stronger and safer. They fold down so they don't have to be removed and should not hit things such as drive-thru awnings fully opened garage doors and etc. Check height restrictions.

They are only about 6-1/2" high when folded down! When not in use fold down for better fuel mileage. Make sure when you are entering or going under a low space that the racks are in the fold down position and the kayak is removed. Heavy duty design is fully padded with memory foam to protect your kayaks and provide years of trouble free service.It has vent holes in the tubing to help prevent rust and extend product life. Fold down design doesn't need to be removed after every use.

The large "J" style design makes loading and unloading fast and easy. The quick adjust straps that are included make your tie down procedure super fast. Also included is the quick adjust hull tie down straps, and the bow/stern tie down ropes for added transportation safety. Our racks will accept kayaks up to 3 feet wide and a total load capacity per set of a 100 pounds. Make sure you check your load bar rating for compatibility.
