Necky Chatham 16 Sea Kayak

Necky Chatham 16, includes nylon and neoprene skirts. The nylon skirt came with the boat, the neoprene is almost new and has been used only a few times. I am selling this boat because I'm just too big for it and have since gotten a higher volume boat that fits me better.This boat has been used but not abused, and has the scratches you would expect to find, but like any good rotomolded boat, it still has plenty of life left. I put on all new deck rigging, new toggle handles, and replaced one of the hatch covers. The other hatch cover had been replaced by PO and is in great shape.

I also took out the seat cradle (seemed like needless weight and bulk) and horrible black seat and got the newer grey foam touring seat from Necky. I attached it with velcro straps so it is still adjustable, and it is MUCH more comfortable.Even oversized for it, I still enjoyed this boat. It surfs beautifully and is very responsive. I was able to fit a night's worth of camping gear, and could have done a few more nights if I packed in more food.
