Kayak - "Mission Necky" **Good Condition** White Water Spec. This is the second of my husband's kayaks I am selling. He had cancer and his lungs are damaged and it is not safe for him to kayak any longer. (And YES he is gutted, but better safe than sorry!) This was another gift from me, so I know that it cost £650 on purchase new, and he has been the only owner. This is half way between a river boat and a stunt boat.
I have no idea what the correct terminology is, sorry. What I mean by that is that he gave me heart attacks going over the waterfall at Mile End Mill in Bala when he went there for whitewater when they did dam releases, yet also used this on the sea in the waves in Devon and also on flat water at Coniston Lake in the Lake District. This comes with a quality used paddle and a really good spray deck. Both were expensive. If I remember correctly the paddle was £120 and the spray deck was £70 and both were bought new from the shop at Mile End Mill.
If I find any other bits in his room in the cellar then I will include them too. At that point he had an estate car and just pushed the seat forward and the kayak fitted inside the car. I have 5 sets of roof bars and if the buyer has a car any of them fit, then you are welcome to take a set. Several are Thule roof bars. Cockpit measures: Width: 17.5 inches Length: 33 inches Leg length inside cockpit just now is 42 inches and the kayak has a foam foot plate which can be removed or cut to increase leg room.
My husband is approx 5' 7" so as it is it fits him like a glove and rolling was super easy and stable.
