Jackson Karma Kayak - Large- Colour "earth" Blue/white /green

I am selling my Jackson Karma (Large) Kayak. It was bought new in 2013 & has served me well as my main "go to " boat. It has mainly been used @ the Lee Valley White Water Centre but has brought me successfully & safely through Alps trips in both Austria & France & the occasional UK river trip. It has the usual scratches & a very minor dent in the rear, which needs pointing out to be seen & which has no effect whatsoever on performance (see Photo 6). The boat is watertight & structurally sound & has never needed any replacement parts.

The distinctive colour is "Earth" (as seen from Space - i.e. Blue,White & Green). Jackson have just stopped making the Karma; I cannot understand why because it is a brilliant kayak & will become increasingly rare & hard to find over time. It is fast, has fantastic stability, especially secondary stability & with its rockered bow will ride over just about everything. It carves cleanly into eddies & is an amazing boof machine.

Its planing hull is impervious to boils & cross currents. It just goes where you point it & like all Jackson kayaks is easy to roll! The large Karma has the renowned Jackson trademark features of a "Uni-shock" bulkhead, "Sure Lock" back band system, which means that adjustments can be made while you are still in the boat on the river, & a carry strap attached to the bulkhead for easy portaging, This kayak also has the original Jackson nalgene water bottle, together with Jackson "sweet cheeks" to ensure a bespoke & comfortable seating position. Like all Jacksons, the seat can be moved backwards or forwards by simply adjusting a single nut. Paddler weight - 165 - 300lbs /83 - 136kgs Karmas are now retailing new @ between £949 & £1049 depending on the dealer, so this is a chance to pick up a bargain. Due to the size of the item, it has to be local collection only (N.London - N14 Postcode) but, if preferred, I will deliver to Lee Valley White Water Centre @ a mutually agreed time
