I’m “just” the Mum of teenage boys, tasked with selling their kit to help them buy new mountain bikes so I’m no expert, but on a kayaking website I found, it described the Jackson Fun Runner 60 as “a river runner / play kayak which is a great combination of stability, comfort and, like the name suggests, fun. It’s fast, manoeuvrable and stable in the water. It’s a great boat if you’re looking to get into kayaking, push your skill level or just want a boat that can be really playful as you float downstream.” The Jackson Kayak website describes it as “our sportiest river runner...This whitewater kayak is for you if you prefer to stay upright but you aren’t looking for a tank to run the river in.” Another kayak review site described it as “just as fast as a river runner and as agile as a playboat. Similar to the Jackson Fun, this has a longer, more stable hull that is designed to attack your whitewater river with speed and confidence.
