I have two 2006 (purchased new in Jan 2007) Hobie Outfitter Tandem kayaks that each include two Mirage drive pedal systems, two comfortable seats and two paddles. Both are built for two but also perfect for a solo user or as I often go with my dog in the front seat. The kayaks are in good shape and fully functional. They do show some wear but these kayaks are very tough and designed to last many years. I have taken good care of them and have kept them in excellent shape. They have many years of life remaining.
They are great for family fun (this boat is very stable and wide for safety), perfect for fishing (there are built in rod holders, pedals allow hands free mobility) or even sailing (it has built in sail mounts, sails not included). These boats can be powered with paddles or by pedaling or both. The Outfitter boat has quick acceleration and impressive cruising speeds, without sacrificing its capacity for hauling gear. It has the capacity suitable for a weekend camping trip or fishing with enough gear to stock a tackle shop—there are two convenient hatches, seat back zippered pouches and a generous on-deck storage area, as well as molded-in rod holders. Also included are documentation on Hobie Kayaks, California boating law, safety guides, available accessories and parts book, a DVD on Hobie Kayaks, and more.Specifications *Crew: 1-2Length: 12' 8" / 3.86 mWidth: 34" / .86 mCapacity: 450 lbs / 204 kg *Fitted Hull Weight: 72 lbs / 32.66 kg *Hull Construction: Rotomolded Polyethylene ** See attached images for additional informationI prefer to sell both kayaks together but willing to sell them separately.Together $2,349 for both (CONTACT ME IF YOU WANT BOTH)Separately $1,250 each (OFFERS/BUY IT NOW/BIDDING IS FOR A SINGLE KAYAK)A truck or kayak roof rack system is required to move them.
