Hobie Tandem Adventure Island 2013

This kayak has had only one owner (the original owner) and was purchased new in 2013. It hasn't been used for a few years, hence the reason for this reluctant sale. The sailing lines and a range of moving and other parts have just been replaced, as has all of the bungee cord. The seats are a bit faded and could use upgrading. The sail is in excellent condition and the vessel has a number of extras including a set of the Hobie brand trampolines, spray guards, a fish finder and brand new long-life rechargeable battery for the fish finder (could run other devices too).

This sale comes with a towable trailer (including a spare tyre and new trailer lights) which has been custom welded to carry a waterproof box for life jackets, the mirage drive and other parts. It also comes with a box of spares including Railblaza connections (some in unopened packaging) for installing rod holders and other accessories. The kayak only comes with one mirage drive, so the purchaser would have to buy a second mirage drive should they wish to have 2 people peddling. The kayak is generally in very good condition but it could use some new seats. The price reflects the fact that it does have quite a few stickers on it which may be difficult to remove, and that it is a 2013 model.

Freight will be paid by the seller in the event that an interstate buyer is successful. This is an extremely fun piece of equipment, sails like a dream, is the perfect platform to kayak fish from and is a great way to teach the kids to sail. Please message with any questions.
