Length/Weight of Kayak - 2.9m (9' 7") and 21.7 kg (48lb) - rated carrying capacity of 110 kgPlug in wheels, rod holder, Seat, Paddles and Mirage drive.The Hobie Sport is the smallest, (and least costly) of the mirage drive Hobie Kayaks. Its still pretty beamy at 0.75m. Its relatively lightweight compared to the other Mirage Hobies which is quite an advantage. Its layout is fairly similar to the Outback - with a 8" hatch in front of the seat and a 6" hatch in the bow. It can be sailed and has a sail mount ready to fit the optional sail kit.

Like the bigger, Outback It has two sets of quite large utility trays which are very useful as well as two molded in drink holders. It also has two rear molded in rod holders and a large rear cargo area behind the seat. A solid molded in carry handle mounted amidships is really really useful. It also has paddle keeper mounts on both sides - so I use one for my paddle and the other for my net / gaff. Also really useful.
