Hobie Revolution 13 With Mirage 180 Drive, Vantage Seat And Lots Of Extras

I bought this kayak new from Manchester Canoes in October 2021 for £3,150.00 (original receipt retained). It has been used mainly on the North Sea and Local rivers (The Ure and the Ouse). The Vantage seat is fully adjustable with lumbar support, recline, and adjustable height. It also doubles up as a camp chair with its own integrated legs if you want to relax on the beach! The rudder is controlled by finger tips and the rudder can be raised or lowered from the cockpit meaning that switching between pedalling and paddling is really easy.

The MirageDrive 180 has an option to select forward or reverse making the kayak very manoeuvrable. It also has Kick-up fins that kick-up whenever they hit an underwater obstacle and then redeploy once you start to pedal again. The drive can be adjusted easily on board to accommodate different leg lengths so the kayak can be pedalled by anyone from a child to a 6-foot plus adult. The kayak has loads of storage including two 8″ twist and stow hatches, one in front of the seat and one at the rear of the kayak, in addition to a large bow hatch enabling easy access to the bow stowage compartment. There is also a large rear cargo area with bungees for additional storage.

The kayak has been fitted with an anchor trolley which I use when fishing either with an anchor or with a drogue chute. Plus I also use a sail – not the Hobie branded sail – from Endless river which adds a great deal of fun. This means that you can pedal, paddle or sail this kayak.
