Hobie Mirage Tandem Island with Road Trailer & Trampolines, Excellent Condition. An exciting trimaran kayak, capable of exploring harbours, rivers, estuaries and the open sea, and represents a very stable platform for fishing, sailing or general on-the-water fun. One of the most flexible boat designs available, it can be used simply as a tandem sit-on-top kayak, with extremely comfortable seats or, together with the outriggers, it becomes a sailing trimaran that is an absolute delight to sail. It can be sailed in anything from very light airs to a force 6, while the furling mainsail allows you to trim the sail according to the conditions. When the wind dies, the boat can be driven by its efficient Hobie Mirage pedal drives, or by its two included paddles.

It can be folded down for compact storage, or transport on the included road trailer, which comes complete with lighting board, hitch lock and wheel clamp. We have sailed it off the south coast, as well as in the Lake District, in Chichester Harbour, in the lakes of Cotswold Water Park, and in the open sea in Scotland – a very versatile craft. The boat includes trampolines that stretch across the outrigger frames, and can be ridden by children and pets, or used for extra gear storage. It has dual controls for steering and sail trim, accessible from either seat position. A totally magic boat!
